BELGRADE (/ˈbɛlɡreɪd/; Serbian: Београд / Beograd; [beǒɡrad]) is the capital and largest city of Serbia. It is situated in South-Eastern Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula, at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkans. Its name translates to White city.

Through its history, Belgrade, at least since the Roman presence and particularly because of the long Ottoman presence has often been a border town and a place where different civilizations meet and melt together.
Belgrade is a city that welcomes everybody, a city that nobody leaves indifferent, a city of culture, sports and leisure, a city of festivals & music. Belgrade represent one of the best Europe’s nightlife and fun cities with an inexhaustible source of energy.
